Be Home Safety Superstars
Are you bored, stuck at home and running out of things to do?
Do you want to win $100 just for keeping your home safe?
As a result of the COVID-19 situation, most Australian families are at home ‘Cooped Up with Cabin Fever’ all searching for fun activities to do with the kids, that are both educational and entertaining, whilst not breaking the bank.
We are calling on all budding safety stars to embrace their artistic talents and enter our competition – so grab your cameras or pens and paper and show us what your family are doing to make your homes ‘Kidsafe’.
Be a boredom buster and get your family thinking caps on, it’s time to get busy!
How to Enter:
1. Create your entry showing what your family is doing to keep children safe whilst being locked down at home. You are only limited to your creativity – examples include (but are not limited to)
· Short video – be creative! This can be your children providing advice to other kids about safety knowledge they have, or the family ticking off items from the ‘Safety Checklist!
· Poster – the kids can draw safety hazards to look out for in the home.
· Before and after photo – Show us a potential hazard and then what you have done to make it safer.
· Cartoon – draw a funny cartoon of a safety hero at work in your home.
· Story – write and illustrate a short story of an unintentional injury that has happened in real life or made up.

2. Post you entry on Kidsafe Victoria’s Facebook page under the promotional banner each week.
Competition Dates
The competition opens on Wednesday 8th April, 9:00am AEDT and closes at 5:00pm AEDT on Monday 4th May 2020. Entries posted outside the competition dates will not be considered.
Each week, the Kidsafe Vic team will choose one weekly winner who will receive a $100 voucher. At the end of the competition on Tuesday 5th May 2020, all weekly winners will go into a draw from which the public will vote for an overall ‘’Safety Superstar” who will win a $250 voucher.
Week 1 – Wednesday 8th April – Tuesday 14th April 2020
Week 2 – Wednesday 15th April – Tuesday 21st April 2020
Week 3 – Wednesday 22nd April – Tuesday 28th April 2020
Week 4 – Wednesday 29th April – Tuesday 5th May 2020
Week 5 – Wednesday 6th May- Tuesday 12th May 2020 (voting for overall winner)
