Local government community awareness kit

As part of the ‘Do Not Leave Children In Cars’ campaign, Kidsafe Victoria and the Lions Crimewatch Committee have developed a community awareness kit for use by local government. The Kits provide local councils with the tools to help raise awareness and reduce the number of children left unattended in car incidents across the state.

Local Government ‘Do Not Leave Children In Cars’ Awareness Kits:

There are different packages available based on the number of signs that your Council requires:

  • Starter kit with 50 signs @ $60 each (branded with the Kidsafe Victoria logo)
  • 100 signs @ $50 each (co-branded with the Kidsafe Victoria and local government logo)
  • 200 signs or more @ $40 each (co-branded with the Kidsafe Victoria and local government logo)

All packages include the provision of coordinated media communication and social media, newsletter and web content:

  • A media release for use to promote your local government’s support and involvement in the campaign
  • A newsletter article for inclusion in local newsletters and bulletins
  • An online ‘Do Not Leave Children In Cars’ fact sheet, including your local government’s logo, to place on your website
  • A ‘Do Not Leave Children In Cars’ campaign banner to place on your website
  • Listing on the Kidsafe Victoria website as a supporter of the campaign
