Registrations are now open for the 2010 Defence Lake Attack Fun Run on Sunday August 29.

People of all ages and athletic ability are invited to participate in a 5 km run/walk or a 10km run around Albert Park Lake to raise vital funds for charity. 

In 2009 a life-changing $212,000 was raised for four Melbourne charities.  Help us go even further in 2010. Kidsafe is lucky enough to be one of four participating charities, along with The Compassionate Friends, Legacy and Redkite, which receive all proceeds from the event.  The event forms a crucial and significant component of our annual income and subsequent ability to provide vital support to the community. 

Defence Lake Attack is an all-ages family event with entertainment, food stalls, the Toll HRT V8 Racing Car, the Royal Australian Air Force Roulettes and a special children’s village including face-painting, petting zoo and a jumping castle.

Defence Lake Attack promotes the role of Defence in the community and is in partnership with the Lord Mayor’s Charitable Foundation, who manages the granting process to the charities.
